When you register for this webinar you will receive an e-mail with a link shortly before the start, which opens in your browser. You will be able to ask questions via audio and chat.
Install ATLAS.ti on your device beforehand. You can install ATLAS.ti by following the manual of the ICT: https://www.radboudnet.nl/atlas/, and creating an account in the ATLAS.ti portal using your Radboud e-mail adress.

This is a introduction workshop to ATLAS.ti (9), software for coding and qualitative data analysis.
In this workshop you will learn about ATLAS.ti software, version 9 (no methodology):
- the basic functions of ATLAS.ti
- to work with projects and export back-ups
- to upload and organise your documents and other materials
- navigation and how to use the document, code and quotation managers
- the different methods of coding in ATLAS.ti and when to use them
- some general tips on how to create a codebook/ code structure, depending on your research question, and sub questions
- how to create basic output by creating reports
- how to use the analysis tools
- other functions: comments, memos, networks
Not included in the instruction: collaboration, special import/export, methodological approach
