Adobe Illustrator basics (FNWI)
During this workshop, you will learn the basics of Illustrator and you will make (a start with) your own scientific poster. Prior knowledge on Adobe Illustrator is not necessary!
NOTE: if you have no experience with Adobe Illustrator and you just want to create a fancy flyer once in a while: consider using Canva! This is a very intuitive, web-based, free tool. Go to www.canva.com to find out more.
- RU-employees: call ICT (024-3622222). They will add you to the Adobe Creative Cloud so you can download AI and other Adobe products.
- Students: Adobe products are available on student workplaces, except for the laptops at the Library of Science. You can borrow a laptop for a day at the service desk at the Library of Science. Don't forget to bring ID.
To work with AI on a private computer:
- RU-employees can work with remote desktop: https://www.ru.nl/ict-uk/staff/working-off-campus/remote-desktop-windows/ (please contact the ICT department if you experience problems).
- Students cannot get it for free. They can buy it with a discount on Surfspot: https://www.surfspot.nl/adobe-creative-cloud-met-services-student.html
