Copyright in education: what can you share? - 15min. coffee lecture
If you include texts or images in your teaching material, be aware of the implications of copyright; even if they appear to be freely available on a website. The following applies to all texts, tables, photos and other images: someone has the copyright. You cannot simply cut and paste the material into your (digital) readers. There are costs involved. The Dutch universities have largely bought these off by means of an agreement with Foundation UvO (Uitgeversorganisatie voor Onderwijslicenties).
To find out more about the agreement the University has with publishers, join our coffee lecture 'Copyright in Education'.
Upon registering, you can choose to join in-person or online via Teams.
